I am predominantly a painter, working primarily in acrylics and oil, but I have been known to dabble in mixed media. My subject matter focuses heavily on my adaptations of womanhood, and how things like faith, my experiences with femininity, and my upbringing have curated my perceptions of life as a woman in the 21st century. I hope that in interacting with my work viewers can find pieces of themselves inside these pieces of me, I hope as well that through our individual and uniquely different interpretations of my work, my viewers and I will become momentarily connected through the act of interacting and finding pieces of ourselves through the shared experience of interacting with art.
